Do you long to belong in your body and in community? Would you like to move freely without the pressure of feeling like you have to know what you're doing? Mandala Dance is a communal dance making workshop for those of us that long to joyfully move our bodies with love and support while connecting with others. You don't need to know ballet or be the first to rush the dance floor to join this circle. Movers bring their unique somatic experiences into the workshop where they are guided in crafting a dance that is born from their bodies through the use of gentle prompts and peer driven variations. The moving mandala that's created is beautiful, perfect and a reflection of everyone in the circle. There is no experience required because if you have a body, you are a dancer.

Buddha Ballet is an organic approach to building strength, flexibility and embracing grace through classical ballet conditioning. Drawing on the pleasure of meditative movement, classes offer a slow fitness experience designed to develop an intelligently toned body and beautiful movement. Class is a combination of floor barre and fundamental center floor conditioning and is always contemplative flow instead of dance choreography. Buddha Ballet is great for all levels of experience.

New A.M. series coming Fall 2019
Tap into the wisdom of your body's structure, increase your mobility and gain confidence with this fundamentals intensive. Over the course of four weeks you'll be introduced to a daily practice designed to drop you into your body and get you moving while gently leading you beyond your comfort zone. The series grows organically from fundamentals in week one all the way to deeply engaged movement in week four. It's a great way to get back to your body or enhance another somatic practice like yoga or dance.
